The Brain Scoop
In 2013, Emily created the educational YouTube channel THE BRAIN SCOOP with the goal of sharing the behind-the-scenes work of natural history museums with the world, via short, entertaining, and informative videos.
After a 3-year hiatus, she relaunched the show in 2024 as an independent producer.

Emily served as executive producer, host, and writer for PREHISTORIC ROAD TRIP, a three-part natural history series from WTTW Chicago and PBS that combines science, culture, and history to bring viewers along for an unforgettable expedition through hundreds of millions of years of history.

RECENT COLLABORATIONS
“DINOSAUR ROAD TRIP” - VISIT MONTANA
In June 2025, in partnership with Visit Montana Emily set out on a week-long journey to explore the paleontology and geology of Eastern Montana. This short-form series was cross-posted across various social media channels to drive awareness about some of the state’s most underrated road trip stops.
SUN DAY
September 21, 2025 was a global day of celebration and recognition of clean energy advancements across the world. Sun Day.earth organized in-person and digital advocacy campaigns, and for her part Emily researched the history of solar panel technology and uncovered a story of fraud and deceit in the process.
