Triceratops horridus - 36" x 48"

$3,250.00
SOLD

I spent the summer of 2019 on the road filming Prehistoric Road Trip for PBS, and many more months before and after thinking about extinct lifeforms and the evidence they leave behind. Triceratops skulls are some of the most abundantly fossils found across much of where we filmed (the Dakotas/Montana), and we even dug up one of our own. Dinosaurs are so often depicted fiercely so I wanted to represent this one a border of floral-like ammonites.

Prints of this painting are also available.
