I grew up not far from Sylvan Lake in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and spent a lot of time hiking and exploring the surrounding area. When it came to identifying locations to feature in the first episode of Prehistoric Road Trip, I knew I’d want to bring it home (literally) to where my love of the natural world began.
I know I probably shouldn’t pick favorites, but I will – and this is one of them. :)
